Welcome to the Thai Bangkaew Dog Club of America. The Thai Bangkaew Dog is a rare, spitz-type dog from Bangkaew, Bang-rakam District, Phitsanulok Providence in Central Thailand. The breed is recognized by the FCI in Section 5, Asian Spitz and Related Breeds.
The Thai Bangkaew Dog has recently become part of the AKC FSS program. It is part of the Non-Sporting group. This club has been formed to promote the Thai Bangkaew Dog in the United States of America.
The Thai Bangkaew Dog is a versatile breed. Our members have dogs that participate in conformation and performance sports. In addition to the AKC, Thai Bangkaew Dogs are shown in the International All Breed Canine Association (IABCA) as a rare breed.
